Are there any stores that have good discounts on makeup in Canada?

I live in Canada and I usually buy my makeup at Shopper's Drug Mart. But lately, the prices seem to have gone up allot. I like the brands Annabelle, Rimmel London, Covergirl, Maybelline New York and Wet n' Wild allot. Are there any other stores I could find these brands at for cheaper prices. I'm pretty sure they have some at Wal-Mart but I'm not sure. Any store in Canada, I don't really care, I just want to find better prices because it's becoming hard to afford.

I go to walmart, shoppers and Jean Coutu (i'm not sure if you have one of those in your area), they are able to compare prices with other stores so you can save either way. Wet n' Wild has a wide selection at walmart.

Where can I get a full professional quality makeup up kit (like MAC, Sephora) for a good/discounted price?

MAC doesn't sell full kits of any sort, really. And most websites that say they sell ';complete MAC kits'; of any sort are most likely selling fakes. (Fake makeup can be VERY unsafe, because you have no idea what's in it!) If your heart is set on MAC makeup, the best way to get your hands on the inexpensive stuff would either be to get a Pro card (if you're a professional makeup artist or a model) or to check out a Cosmetics Company Outlet (or CCO).





I know Sephora puts out kits from time to time, especially their Blockbuster sets. Ulta has some really great kits too. They go on sale from time to time, or if you get on their mailing list/discount card doo-dad, those are usually good ways to score some pretty sweet discounts as well.





If you are interested in a full kit, NYX cosmetics does offer two different complete starter kits that come with makeup, a solid train case, and some brushes:

you can check out your local CCO (cosmetic company outlet), they sell MAC, clinique, and other pricey brands @at discounted prices. but they have a limited variety of things, they usually get extra items that get stocked up @MAC stores, i think. but i buy alot of my MAC over @the CCO's. hope that helped :)Where can I get a full professional quality makeup up kit (like MAC, Sephora) for a good/discounted price?
For professional quality and a good range of industry-standard colours and products, I would try Camera Ready Cosmetics:

They sell complete kits, as well as a range of palettes, etc. La Femme and Nixie are both good quality brands that are a lot easier on the wallet than MAC or Sephora.
You can certainly try eBay or your local cosmetics outlet stores; just be very careful because many outlets are selling discontinued items that may (often) be expired. Just know what is currently available at the MAC counter and shop accordingly.


Also, use caution with eBay as they are notorious for selling fake MAC products, especially the pigments.

MAC makeup is great, but unless you have a pro membership, or have access to a Estee Lauder corporate store there isn't much chance of getting discount. There are a few ways to try and get MAC for less. You can try looking at the Lauder outlet stores. You can find a list of these outlets at www.pursebuzz.com. You can also try E-Bay. Many times you can get MAC makeup for less on there, but you have to be careful that you don't get something counterfit. If you have MAC makeup already and have 6 empty pieces of MAC packaging (plastic or glass, no paper outter pack) then you can turn it in for a free Lipstick or Lip Glass.

If u have a Pro Card you can, but let me tell you I have one and they are only good online(macpro.com) or at a mac store. U cant use the card at a Macy's Mac Counter. Try going to starsmakeuphaven.com they are way cheaper but it is only custon made samples sizes. They are totaly worth it though.

but MAC itsnt always best just kuz its expensive try some cheaper brands that are still good like CoverGirl Rimmel Almay etc.
You have to apply for a pro-card, which are available to makeup artists and cosmetic industry insiders. They are pretty stringent about who they give them to.
I wouldn't want MAC even if it were FREE... MAC stand for bring on the breakouts!
They have a store in an outlet mall by me - clinique, Lauder, mac, etc. - it's cheaper but they don't always carry everything.





Try looking on ebay too.
the only way i think you can get a discount is if you bribe the person sdelling it to you.like, if you are walking in the mall, and a guy just stops you to sell the product to you, you can say '; $45 is the lowest i'm going!'; lol. my mom always does that. : )
